ATTENTION: Thank you for choosing BayPort Credit Union's Online Loan Pay service, the current Online Loan Pay service will migrate to the External Loan Payment application within Online banking. You can continue to make your payments to your BayPort loans from external accounts using External Loan Payment, under the 'Move Money' tab in the Online Banking navigation.

For our business members, we have moved our Online Loan Pay service from the BayPort website to Business Banking. It is referred to as 'External/Online Loan Pay' under the 'Move Money' tab in Business Banking navigation.

If you need access to Online Loan Pay to cancel recurring payments, then you may do that by logging into your Online Loan Pay profile to cancel any further payments. If you are unsure and want to cancel your Online Loan Pay service, or you need assistance accessing your Online or Business Banking account, then please contact us by calling our Member Information Center at 757.928.8850 or 800.928.8801.

How do I manage my scheduled Online Loan Pay transactions?

  • Login to Online Loan Pay.
  • Locate the My Scheduled Transactions section
  • Select the Edit or Delete links as needed.

I didn't create a Online Loan Pay profile but need to manage a scheduled transaction.

  • Visit Online Loan Pay 
  • Click Create Profile 
  • Enter your email address used when setting up the transaction to creat your profile.
  • After creating your profile your scheduled transactions will be available within your Online Web Pay account under My Scheduled Transactions for managing

How do I reset my Online Loan Pay password?

  • Visit Online Loan Pay
  • Click Forgot your Email Address or Password?
  • Enter your email address used to create your Online Loan Pay password
  • A new password will be emailed to your email address.

I don't remember which email address I used to create my Online Loan Pay profile.

  • If you cannot remember your email address, please contact us.

Is there a cutoff time for making modifications to Online Loan Pay payments?

  • Yes, modifications need to be made 1 business day before the payment date, before 4PM ET.

What loans can I pay with Online Loan Pay?

  • You can pay any BayPort loan excluding mortgage and credit cards.

How are payments funded?

  • Payments are funded using a checking or savings account from another financial institution. If you wish to make a loan payment from your BayPort account online please login to Online Banking to make a transfer.

Is Online Loan Pay available outside of the United States?

  • Online Loan Pay is only available from within the United States. In addition, Online Loan Pay will only accept funding accounts from the United States. If you are currently located outside of the United States please contact us for assist with paying your loan payment(s).

How are payments processed?

  • Please note payments submitted before 4PM ET Monday through Friday will process to your BayPort account on the next banking day. The payment will clear your funding account within 2 banking days. If payment is made after 4 PM ET Monday through Friday or on a Saturday, Sunday or Federal Holiday please allow two banking days for processing. To confirm your processing date please review the Start Date under the Payment Summary before submitting.) 
  • Scheduled transactions are processed on banking days only, which are defined as calendar days other than a Saturday, Sunday or Federal Holiday.

What are the processing limits for Online Loan Pay?

  • Per Transaction Limit: $1,000.00
  • 30 Day Total: $30,000.00

I'm getting an message "Denied Access: For security purposes, access has been temporarily denied. For assistance, call Newport News Shipbuilding Employees Credit Union at 757-928-8850.". What should I do?

Your login access to Online Loan Pay has been temporarily suspended due to invalid login attempts. For loan payment assistance please contact us.

How do I cancel my future/recurring payments?

Login into your Online Loan Pay profile, and 'delete' your payments under 'My Scheduled Transactions'. Please contact us at 757-928-8850, if you need assistance with canceling your payment(s)
