Checks may not be stale dated with a date older than six (6) months old, unless otherwise specified on the check. (Some checks state they must be deposited within 180 days.)
BayPort's Remote Deposit Capture
- Checks deposited through RDC, or mobile banking product must be endorsed with “For Mobile Deposit Only”.
- You will receive an email/receipt with more information on the check deposited through remote deposit.
- The check must be deposited into an account in which all parties on the check must be listed on. (For example, if you recently got married and received a check with your name and spouse's name; the account must have both of your names on it.)
- Check holds cannot be disputed if you use mobile deposit or remote deposit. (If you need the funds sooner, please deposit the check at a branch.)
