No more waiting and worrying, submit your travel notifications within Online and Mobile Banking!

 

If you’re traveling and using a BayPort credit or debit card, we encourage you to notify us of your travel plans in order to avoid blocked transactions due to unusual activity. You can notify BayPort of your travel plans in real-time by creating travel notices within the Online and Mobile Banking Card Controls tool. 


Steps for Creating a Travel Notice

  1. Log into Online or Mobile Banking 
  2. Access Card Controls
    • Online Banking- Click the “Manage Money” drop down menu> Select Card Controls
    • Mobile Banking App- Click the “More” button in the bottom right corner> select Card Controls (Under the “Manage Money” section header)
  3. Select Set Travel Notice on the Card Controls home screen
  4. Select the Card or Cards for which the travel notice will apply
  5. Select a start date by clicking the calendar icon or manually typing in the Start Date box
    • Note: The start date should be the date you will begin traveling.
    • Travel notices can be created up to 1 year in advance
  6. Select an end date by clicking the calendar icon or manually typing in the End Date box.
    • Note: The end date should be the date you will be returning.
    • Travel timespan cannot exceed 30 days.
  7. Select the destination(s) you will be traveling to.
    • You may add up to 10 destinations.
  8. Click Save 

Once a travel notice is set you will see a confirmation message at the top of the screen.


How to View, Edit and Delete a travel notice

  1.  Log into Online or Mobile Banking and access Card Controls
  2.  To view travel notices individually- Select the card you wish to view travel notice information for

            To view travel notices for all cards- Select the “View travel Notices” link (Only available in Online Banking)


From the main Card Controls screen or from the “View Travel Notices” link you can select the red trash can icon next to any travel notice to delete it or select the blue pencil icon to edit travel notices that have not begun yet.


  • If the travel notice is currently active you will only have the option to delete. If you need to make changes or update a travel notice that is currently active simply delete it and submit a new one.
