BayPort Single Mobile App Release/Update – Frequently Asked Questions

Last Review: 11/7/23

Q: What is the login experience for Single App?

A: Consumer and business users will be able to sign in from the same application. If you member have both consumer AND business account logins, you will be able to store one of each of those credentials and select which account they wish to login to from the Single App sign in screen.

Q: Do I have to update my credentials?

A: No. The user's existing credentials (consumer and/or business) will work on Single App.

Q: What happens to the current Business Mobile Application?

A: The existing Business Mobile application (BMA) will be removed from sale from both Google Play and the Apple App Store upon the release of Single App. This means the business application will no longer be available for download.

Q: What happens if I don’t upgrade immediately?

A: If you have the previous Business Mobile application (BMA) and have not downloaded the new BayPort Single Mobile App you will be able to continue to use BMA. However, once Single App migrations are complete, BMA will no longer be updated. Duplicate links may display in BMA and the app will degrade over time.

**If you notice any issues within the old business mobile application, BayPort and our digital banking vendor will no longer be able to assist.

Q: For the Single App, are there any changes to business mobile entitlements or user

permissions?

A: No. All existing configurations and entitlements will remain in place.

Q: With the move to Single App, are there any additional features or functionality available?

A: No. All existing features and functions within the Business Mobile app will be available, but no new features or functions will immediately be available in Single App.

Q: Can you register for business online banking from the Single App?

A: No. At this time only consumer member registration will be supported via Single App.

**Reach out to your local branch or call for more information on how to register your business for online banking.
